ศิลปะคือชีวิตของนักวาดภาพ
นักเดินทางที่ไม่มีวันสิ้นสุดแม้จะหมดลมหายใจ
แม้ผู้ชมจะไม่เข้าใจในผลงานของเรา

Art is the life of a painter —
a traveler whose journey never ends, even with their final breath.
Even if the audience doesn’t understand our work,
I am happy to express something from the depths of my heart —
the lines, colors, the weight of my hand, emotions, gentleness, intensity, and repression —
all captured in each stroke upon the canvas.
Some works may seem meaningless, without titles or explanations,
yet they always hide a part of me — the hidden energy, the quiet emotions,

ท่ามกลางความหลากหลายของวงการศิลปะร่วมสมัย ภัณฑิรา กำเหนิดโทน สร้างผลงานจิตรกรรมที่โดดเด่นมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวอย่างแท้จริง กับนิทรรศการแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของศิลปินในชื่อว่า “ซ่อน – 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐶𝐸𝐴𝐿” ครั้งนี้ ศิลปินเปิดเผยโลกที่เต็มไปด้วยความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์และสัตว์ ผ่านภาพเหนือจริงที่งามชวนฝันแต่แฝงความลึกลับ ภาพสัตว์ทดลองที่รูปร่างถูกดัดแปลง หรือสัตว์ที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนความรู้สึกและตัวตนของเธอ สัตว์เหล่านี้ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงสิ่งมีชีวิตตัวประกอบ แต่เป็นตัวแทนอารมณ์ ภาวะเปราะบาง ความหวาดกลัว ความเจ็บปวด และความหวังที่ถูกซ่อนไว้ภายใต้รูปลักษณ์ภายนอก
Concept
Body — a hidden space where feelings are concealed.
Breath — a gentle rhythm that sways with the pressure of color, heavy or light, across the canvas.
Instinct — awake, alert, never asleep, like the luminous eyes of living creatures in her paintings.
Amid the diversity of the contemporary art world, Phanthira Kamnerdton has developed a distinct painterly voice that is both refined and powerful. In her first solo exhibition, “Conceal”, the artist unveils a world shaped by the delicate relationship between humans and animals — surreal, dreamlike, and mysterious.
Her imagery features hybrid beings and transformed test animals — creatures that serve as emotional surrogates for the artist herself. These are not mere subjects but embodiments of vulnerability, fear, pain, and hidden hope. Beneath their forms lies an emotional depth that mirrors the artist’s inner landscape.
สิ่งที่ทำให้งานของเธอแตกต่างคือการผสมผสานที่ลงตัวระหว่างความงามของกล้ามเนื้อที่สวยงาม แสดงถึงความเข้าใจในกายวิภาคที่แม่นยำ เข้ากับจินตนาการเหนือจริงไร้ขอบเขต สร้างความรู้สึก บางเบา เหมือนความฝันยามค่ำคืน แต่กลับหนักแน่นด้วยเนื้อหาและเทคนิคที่ละเอียดละออ น้ำหนักสีไม้ที่ซ้อนทับกันอย่างบรรจงสร้างมิติและความลึกในชั้นผิว จนผู้ชมรู้สึกว่าสามารถสัมผัสถึงผิวหนังและอารมณ์ของตัวละครเหล่านั้นได้ งานศิลปะของเธอจึงเป็นเสมือนประตูสู่โลกแห่งความลับ เปิดเปลือยร่องรอยอารมณ์ควบคู่กับความปรารถนาที่ไม่อาจเอ่ย ความจริงที่ถูกซ่อนเร้นและการตั้งคำถามต่อโลกใบนี้ผ่านมุมมองและจินตนาการของศิลปิน เพื่อรอคอยให้ผู้ชมเข้าไปสำรวจและตีความด้วยตนเอง
What sets her work prominent is the harmonious fusion of anatomical precision and boundless imagination. Her depiction of muscular beauty demonstrates a deep understanding of form, while her surreal compositions evoke an ethereal atmosphere — light as a dream, yet weighted with meaning.
Layer upon layer of colored pencil creates nuanced textures and subtle depth, inviting viewers to feel the skin, breath, and emotion of each figure. Her paintings thus become portals into secret worlds, revealing emotional traces and unspoken desires — truths that linger between concealment and revelation, waiting to be explored and interpreted by each viewer.

ภัณฑิรา บ่มเพาะความหลงใหลในศิลปะมาตั้งแต่เยาว์วัย โดยมีรากฐานจากความผูกพันกับงานศิลปะไทยซึมซับมาตั้งแต่เด็ก การวาดภาพประกวดแข่งขันเป็นเสมือนเวทีฝึกฝนที่ลับคมฝีมือและจุดประกายความสนใจในลายเส้น โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในรายละเอียดของกล้ามเนื้อและสรีระสิ่งมีชีวิต ซึ่งเป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญที่ปรากฏในผลงานของเธออย่างน่าทึ่งในปัจจุบัน และด้วยข้อจำกัดทางทรัพยากรที่ทำให้ไม่สามารถเข้าถึงสีน้ำมันหรือสีอะคริลิคราคาแพงได้ ท้ายที่สุดเพื่อการได้สร้างงานศิลปะ ศิลปินเลือกใช้วัสดุที่เข้าถึงได้ง่ายอย่าง สีไม้ มาเป็นสื่อหลักในการสร้างสรรค์งานจิตรกรรมของเธอ ใช้ความพยายาม ความอุตสาหะ ความเข้าใจในเทคนิคซึ่งกลายเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่ยากจะเลียนแบบได้เช่นกัน
“Conceal” — a solo exhibition by Phanthira Kamnerdton will be on view from November 2 to 30, 2025, on the Ground Floor of Joyman Gallery, Bangkok. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, November 2, at 5:00 PM.

About the Artist
Phanthira Kamnerdton’s passion for art began in her childhood, nurtured by an early exposure to Thai art traditions. Her participation in art competitions served as a training ground that sharpened her technical skills and deepened her fascination with anatomical structure — particularly the musculature and physicality of living beings.
Due to limited resources, she could not afford oil or acrylic paints early on. Yet, her determination led her to embrace a more accessible medium — colored pencils — which she masterfully wields today. Through perseverance and discipline, she developed an intricate technique that has become her unique signature — a language of patience, texture, and emotion that cannot easily be replicated.
